Ombre Brows/ Microblading Aftercare
PMU Eyebrow Aftercare
Day 1
♡ Blot treated area with a tissue to absorb excess lymph fluid every 5 minutes until the oozing has stopped
♡ Keep area dry for 24 hours
♡ Gently wash the area with a non-scented soap or cleanser (Cetaphil or Dial Gold Foam Soap) every 2-3 hours until bedtime
♡ After washing apply thin layer of ointment with a cotton swab (Should apply size of a rice grain)
♡ Do not pick, touch, peel, scratch or irritate the tattoo
♡ Do not let other shampoo, soap, lotions or makeup come in contact with tattoo
♡ Keep the area dry from excess water/humidity for 24 hours
Day 2 - 14
♡ Gently wash the area with cleanser every morning and and night
♡ After washing apply thin layer of ointment with a cotton swab (apply ointment total of 3x a day)
♡ Do not over-apply to allow the skin to breathe and heal
♡ Do not pick, touch, peel, scratch or irritate the tattoo
♡ Do not let other shampoo, soap, lotions or makeup come in contact with tattoo
♡ If tattoo is still scabbing/healing, continue aftercare until your tattoo has fully healed
Avoid for 1 week
- Submerging the tattoo in water
- Sleeping on your face
- Avoid face-down swimming and lakes
- Avoid topical makeup and sunscreen on the area
- Hot tubs, steam rooms, pools, long hot showers
- Excessive sweating from physical activities
Avoid for 2 weeks
- Direct sunlight or tanning beds
- Anti-aging products, anti-acne products or lightening creams on/near brows
- Threading, waxing, or use of hair removal products
- Smoke, fumes, areas with airborne debris
- Driving in open-air vehicles
Avoid for 4 weeks
- No facials, botox, chemical treatments or microdermabrasion
- Laser or chemical treatments/peels
Instructions for Showering
♡ Take fast showers so that you do not create too much steam
♡ Keep your face out of the water while you wash your body, then, at the end of your shower, wash your hair facing away from shower head
♡ Your face should only be getting wet only at the end of the shower
♡ Avoid excessive rinsing and hot water on the treated area
